Thu, 22 Nov 2012Final designs for the 2025 Highway Patrol Vehicle from worldwide design studios are in for the Los Angeles Auto Show Design Challenge. Design studios from BMW DesignWorksUSA, General Motors, Honda North America, Honda Japan, Mercedes-Benz and Subaru are fighting it out to be honored in the annual contest by showcasing their creativity and talent. This year's Design Challenge asked automotive design studios to create a highway patrol vehicle for 2025 that tackled the ‘protect and serve' aspect while considering emissions, population growth and transportation infrastructure.

Thu, 24 Dec 2009Sangyup Lee, designer of the acclaimed Chevrolet Camaro, has recently resigned from General Motors to accept a position as Chief Designer of Exterior at the Volkswagen/Audi Advanced studio in California. Lee is scheduled to begin work mid-January 2010, reporting to Jens Manske who was appointed Executive Director earlier this year. Fri, 09 May 2014Volkswagen Group tuning house ABT Sportsline debuted its latest version of Audi's flagship luxury-sport sedan, the Audi S8. The already quick sedan has received a facelift for the 2015 model year, as revealed a few months ago at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it didn't take ABT Sportsline long to get their hands on the latest version. While Audi's changes to the exterior have been relatively mild, with restyled front and rear bumpers and a slightly redesigned grille, the tuning house once again focused on changes under the hood.
