Range Rover Sport Overfinch Performance Package gets 545 bhp – price from £87,995
Thu, 19 Jun 2014The Overfinch Range Rover Sport (pictured) gets 545 bhp We make no secret of the fact that if you want to spend money on making your Range Rover (or Evoque or Sport) more individual, then the best route is with Overfinch. Overfinch have been making Land Rovers better for almost 40 years, and as long as you exert a little restraint when making your update choices the end result looks like a bespoke OEM car, and not one tricked out by a man who used to be a dresser on Strictly. But Overfinch don’t just do the cosmetic stuff, they also do performance upgrades, and it looks like Overfinch’s new Performance Package for the Range Rover Sport will be on the road before Land Rover gets its Range Rover Sport R (or whatever it’s going to be badged) in showrooms.
Hyundai Veloster RE:FLEX hits Chicago Auto Show
Fri, 07 Feb 2014We hope Simon LeBon's mysterious “treasure in the dark” wasn't a turbocharger. If the Duran Duran frontman deigns to pick up a Hyundai Veloster RE:FLEX, he won't be getting one. The RE:FLEX package, announced at the Chicago Auto Show adds chrome 18” wheels, extra brightwork on the door handles and hood, a passel of LEDs, a pair of light-up doorsills and the standard 138-hp, 1.6L engine.
New Audi S6, S7, S8 and RS6 to get Bentley V8
Sat, 18 Jun 2011The 2012 Audi S8 will get power from a Bentley V8 We reported back in October that Bentley and Audi were working on a new V8 that would power future models from both marques, and we asked if that would mean the end of the W12 in the Bentley. Because although it was claimed that the V8 being developed would be used as an entry-level lump for the Continental GT – a nod to more frugal times – we did think it likely it would be more than that. And now we’re convinced.
