This auction is for a pair ( two pieces - Rt. and Lt.) of Rubber Window Channel Inserts for a Suzuki Samurai.
These parts are used, but in good condition.
These inserts weren't actually removed from a Samurai but I have found after some research, and of course, some trial and error, that these work beautifully to replace the old worn-out felt inserts that came as original equipment. These actually fit the channels better than the new rubber OEM replacements and I believe that these will work for all years of Samurai's. I replaced the felt inserts on my "86" Samurai and couldn't believe the difference. No more air leaks and no more rattles, no matter what position my window was in.
As far as installation goes, the most difficult part was removing the old felt. (which won't be very hard if yours is in as bad condition as most Samurai's this age). Once your channels are free of the old felt inserts, these slide right in! No need to cut or trim anything like some of the other window channel that you may see offered on Ebay, I have taken care of that for you. These come ready to install! And even better........these are priced much more reasonably than some of the other alternatives.

SAE approves new fast-charging standard for EVs, plug-ins
Tue, 16 Oct 2012SAE International said it has approved a new technical standard that will dramatically reduce charging times for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and electric vehicles. The global engineering group said the new charging standard, developed with the cooperation of more than 190 automakers, utilities and equipment builders, will allow charging times to be reduced from as long as eight hours to as short as 20 minutes. Automakers want DC direct charging to take less than 10 minutes, or roughly the time it takes to fill a tank with gasoline.The goal is to accommodate currents as high as 500 volts distributed from public charging stations.
