For sale is a brand-new, still in the original packaging water pump, gasket and a radiator cap. The radiator cap is a Stant 11227 and the water pump is a Signature Series WP-710. This is a NEW water pump, not remanufactured. I purchased these from advance auto parts a while ago for around $90. I was going to return the water pump, but this company has changed to Beck/Arnley, and their part number is 131-2111. These were purchased for a 1990 Suzuki Sidekick with the 1.6L engine, but should fit all Suzuki Sidekick, Geo Tracker and Chevy Tracker models with the 1.6L engine. Please make sure this will work for your vehicle before bidding. This is being sold as-is with NO-RESERVE and FREE SHIPPING. Depending on shipping costs, the items may be repackaged for shipping. Please see my other auctions for more new automotive and truck parts, including more Suzuki sidekick and tracker parts.

BMW 0 Series revealed? +video

Sat, 26 Jun 2010

Is this the BMW 0 Series? If BMW are going to go further downmarket in their quest for more sales – which we know they are with their plans for front wheel drive BMWs – then short of a sub-brand marque (entirely possible some will wear the Isetta or i-setta badge) then the only number we have to play with is a big, fat 0. It seems daft to give a BMW a leading 0 and its own series, but it certainly looks to be under consideration.

Concept Car of the Week: Mazda Ibuki (2003)

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

With the Ibuki, Mazda designers synthesized the most successful of the first generation MX-5's iconic elements and evolved their forms to make them even more memorable and simple. To do so, they used a strong geometric theme throughout the car inside and out: LED headlamps; front air intake; tail lamps; rear view mirrors; release handles and interior details down to the pedals – every shape follow the same oval theme. Zooming out, the silhouette – as well as the top view – is also oval, making the Ibuki look more like a toy than a car, which is a real bonus for a small roadster.

Mandelson to announce help for car makers

Tue, 27 Jan 2009

Lord Mandelson is the man charged with finding ways to fund UK Car purchases (yes, he of the dodgy mortgage debacle – at least he should know a few tricks!) as the credit crunch has dried up funding, leading to an unprecedented drop in new car sales in the UK. Mandelson is due to make a statement in the Lords just after 3pm today, outlining the help the government is going to offer to ailing car makers. Central to this package is expected to be a funding channel directly from the Bank of England to inject liquidity in to the car financing sector.
