Land Rover Freelander Black & White back for 2013

Land Rover has resurrected the Black & White Limited Edition outing for the 2013 Freelander 2 with extra kit on a Freelander S for a 600 run. Land Rover does like to divvy up a special edition at the end of the year to give car sales a bit of New Year impetus (and, if Land Rover’s recent sales figures are anything to go by, it certainly works), and this year we get the Land Rover Freelander Black & white Edition. No Logbook? No Sale

IT’S EASY to let your head rule your heart when buying a used car, but a leading industry expert is warning buyers not to part with their cash if the vehicle is missing its logbook. Used vehicle data specialists HPI says it has seen a rising number of customers fall prey to sellers passing on vehicles without a logbook, otherwise known as the V5C, leaving them vulnerable to a number of scams. Commenting on the issue, Phil Peace, Operations Director for HPI, said: “We’ve seen a number of buyers going ahead with a vehicle purchase without having seen the logbook for the vehicle.

Suzuki Q concept

The second of Suzuki's concept trio is the Q, whch is designed for the inner-city commuter. The highly stylized all-electric quadracycle is powered by an electric motor and battery pack, the Q has a range of 50km and a top speed of just 37mph. The Q is aimed at those with a short commute, described as being "ideal for everyday journeys within a radius of about six miles" and, as such, is pitched as a comfortable commuting tool.
