New Audi RS4 Avant costs £54,925
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Audi has revealed that the new RS4 Avant complete with 444bhp from its 4.2 litre V8 – will cost £54,925 in the UK. The new Audi RS4 Avant got its reveal at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and is the only RS4 body style you’re going to get. Unless you count the RS4 in coupe guise that Audi call the RS5.
Flavio Briatore legal challenge to FIA ban
Sun, 18 Oct 2009Flavio Briatore is launching legal action to get his lifetime ban overturned Flavio Briatore will start legal proceedings in the Paris Tribunal de Grande tomorrow in an attempt to overturn the lifetime ban he received from the FIA for his part in the ‘Singapore-Gate’ race fixing episode, which saw Nelson Piquet Jnr intentionally crashing his car to allow team mate Fernando Alonso to take victory in the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. Briatore is claiming the life time ban from involvement in any FIA sanctioned Motor Sport – including driver management – is a legal absurdity. And he probably has a point.
UK drivers becoming more aggressive
Mon, 09 Jun 2014DRIVERS in the UK are becoming more aggressive, with 61% saying they use their car’s horn at least once a month. They are using the horn in anger at other drivers rather than its proper purpose of warning other drivers of your presence. A study by Flexed shows drivers are also using more anti-social tactics than before, with 33% of drivers admitting to changing lanes multiple times in traffic jams to try to get further ahead.
