College Exhibition: IAAD - Yamaha Project

In early September, Transportation Design students from Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design - Turin (IAAD) presented the results of 'Yamaha Next Move', a project sponsored by Yamaha, exploring a personal vision of a Yamaha scooter for the near future. Yamaha guided the students through the next generation of "two wheelers" suggesting two themes: -  Youngsters, two wheels, 50 cc: For kids that can only drive 50 cc, there are many products on the market, but sales are in decline. The project brief included evaluation of the possible causes for lack of interest and offers new solutions, including functional and aesthetic proposals.

Infiniti fast tracks small diesel engines

Infiniti is fast-tracking new small diesel engines in the wake of the Daimler-Renault-Nissan partnership signed today in Brussels.Nissan's upmarket division will take supply of Merc's smaller four-cylinder turbodiesels - at a stroke thrusting it into the heartland of the executive sector. Eterniti Hemera (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Eterniti Motors – the fledgling UK luxury car start-up – has shown its new Hemera SUV ahead of its debut at this week’s 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It’s now become apparent that Eterniti will rebody the Porsche Cayenne 4x4 at its London factory to an even higher spec – they say – than when it emerges from Stuttgart. So the Eterniti Hemera is a posh Cayenne?
