Bentley's new Arnage: first teaser photo and video
Wed, 10 Jun 2009Bentley's new Arnage successor By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 10 June 2009 10:10 Bentley today issues the first photograph – albeit in annoying, teaser form – of its important new 2010 Arnage replacement. We’ll see the new limousine, which isn’t expected to be called Arnage, for real later in summer 2009. This single photo of the Arnage successor suggests that the new saloon will pioneer a further evolution of the Bentley design DNA from the Continental series of models.
Opel / Vauxhall Mocha almost revealed as Buick Encore
Wed, 04 Jan 2012Three quarters of the Bucik Encore - the American Mocha The European Opel / Vauxhall Mocha – a Corsa based SUV – has been almost revealed in the US with a tease for the Buick Encore. Just before Christmas we reported on a new Corsa-based SUV on the way from Vauxhall and Opel which looks like it’s going to be the Opel Mocha (and, we assume, the Vauxhall Mocha too). But in this new ‘One World’ for cars, where North America actually gets the sort of cars they would once have derided as too small to consider, the Mocha is also going on sale in the US.
Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy grabs Nurburgring Record
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy and the Nurburgring crew First we get the news that Renault has pushed out a limited edition Megane Renaulsport – the Megane Renaulsport 265 Trophy with a slightly tweaked and titivated version of the Megane Renaultsport 250 – and now we get the follow-up publicity with the claim of a new Nurburgring record for the brisk Megane. This isn’t a record that’s quite as daft as some of the records that are claimed for the Nurburgring (there almost seems to be a specific category of ‘Record’ time to fit every car maker’s needs), but it does seem a bit obscure. It’s the Nurburgring record for the fastest production front wheel drive car.
