My first Jaguar experience was with the purchase of an XJ6 Coupe which I bought because I thought it was very elegant.  The 4.2 straight six never failed to impress in the way the car just disappeared over the horizon in plush silence (apart from some wind noise from the door seals) and I loved the drama of opening two petrol caps and pumping in fuel from both sides of the car. After long fast drives to southern Germany I always arrived as fresh as when I started out. The car attracted admiring interest from everyone including little old ladies!

Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. (HSCI), the Japanese automaker's Indian subsidiary, unveiled the New Small Concept at Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi yesterday. Previewing a new compact vehicle set to make its market debut in 2011 (in India and also in Thailand), the New Small Concept features a number of characteristic Honda design elements seen on the brand's recent production models and concept cars.

The approach to the design of top end models varies greatly depending on the manufacturer's heritage and the cultural differences of each country. It might be a conventional combination of wood and leather for some, power and technology for others, but it is generally packaged into a three-box four-door sedan or two-door fastback. Renault on the other hand had a much more cutting edge vision of what a luxury automobile could be.
