SwedeTech designed the new stainless steel stator and flywheel cover to be low profile, while allowing for adequate protection of the driver and the rotating ignition flywheel. The OEM plastic cover is very bulky. Other aftermarket flywheel covers expose the rotating flywheel, which will not protect the parts from rubbing against the seat. Open front allows airflow to keep engine cooler. Cutout on the lower portion allows water and debris to drain out. An extra tab is incorporated into this part in the effect you should break the clutch lifter stay. The clutch lifter stay is not available from Honda, you would have to buy a new stator kit. Toyota SAI – New Toyota Hybrid
Fri, 02 Oct 2009The new Toyota SAI will be based on the Lexus HS250 (pictured) Update 20/0/09: The Toyota Sai has now been revealed. The Toyota SAI is going to launch on the 20th October in Japan. To all intents and purposes it is a Lexus HS250 under the skin and features a similar drivetrain to the new Prius, but with a 2.4 litre petrol engine instead of the 1.8 litre in the Prius.

CES: GM to open the dashboard to developers
Tue, 08 Jan 2013At last year's Autoweek Design Forum, father of the iPod and Nest Labs co-founder Tony Fadell suggested that automakers concentrate on designing and building cars, leaving handset makers to handle infotainment. The latest announcements from Ford and GM -- in conjunction with the International CES -- suggest that automakers would rather treat the dashboard space as a handset. Yesterday, Dearborn, Mich., announced the Ford Developer Program, which opens up Sync to outside application development; now General Motors has announced a similar initiative.
