Trucking Company GimmicksTrucking companies have a gimmick that they charge for residential delivery. If you have a shop behind your house, it is considered a residential delivery I have customers tell me "I have trucks deliver all the time" I do not doubt that trucking companies deliver to you all the time, but by the time they add a residential charge, an appointment fee and a redelivery fee, the fees can add to over an extra $150 on top of the quote you were already given!!! Another charge the trucking companies like to charge is a redeliver charge. If the company sends a truck out to do a delivery during regular business hours and you cannot unload it. The company will charge a redelivery fee. The company paid a driver to come to your location and paid for fuel, so the company does not care If you: Went to get a pizza Long story short, if the company has to come back to deliver. The company will add a redelivery fee that You will be responsible for If you are given a shipping quote, I will honor it for 10 days. I however need to repeat myself, You are responsible for redelivery, residential or farm delivery and an appointment fee if the carrier adds thoes extra fees. The fees can add up to an extra $150. Porsche purchases Andial performance brand
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Porsche announced on Thursday that it has purchased the legendary Andial name that has become a staple in the realm of Porsche racing and performance tuning. In 1975, the late Arnold Wagner (AN), Dieter Inzenhofer (DI), and former Porsche Motorsport North America president and current consultant Alwin Springer (AL) came together to build Andial (an anagram of the principals names), a successful and respected independent authority on Porsche-performance tuning. Since the last active owner, Inzenhofer, is retiring later this month, timing was ripe for Porsche to jump in and offer to carry the Andial torch.

The Blue Oval’s SUV notched up three stars while the Audi A4 only scored two in pedestrian impact tests. The Ford Kuga also achieved four stars for child occupancy and five for adult occupancy.

Thu, 27 Feb 2014The Volvo concept estate (pictured) debuts at Geneva We had the first glimpse of what we now know is the Volvo Concept Estate over the weekend when a Swedish raincoat manufacturer published a series of teaser photo sof the latestr Volvo Concept, and now Volvo has revealed it ahead of a Geneva debut. Just as the Volvo Concept Coupe was a modern interpretation of the icon Volvo P1800, the Concept estate is a reworking of the car the P1800 became in its final iteration – the Volvo P1800 ES. The P1800 ES was a Shooting Brake in the proper car sense – none of the modern interpretation where a Shooting Brake has become a four-door coupe estate – and the Concept estate is just the same – a two-door coupe with a stylish estate rear.
