Rechargeable Lithium-ion Batteries

Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery packs in the camera and monitor let you use the Swift Hitch system wirelessly for up to 10 hours for the camera (4 hours for SH01 and 10 hours for SH02) and up to four hours for the monitor (4 hours for both SH01 and SH02).

Night Vision Using Infrared Technology

Light-sensing LEDs in the camera automatically sense insufficient lighting and turn on Night Vision mode with up to 15’ of reception in darkness.

Wireless Range of up to 300 Feet

Swift Hitch wireless cameras feature an effective transmission range between camera and monitor of up to 300 feet (100 yards) with unobstructed line of sight. Wireless functionality and an easily changed mounting position of the camera allows the user to swiftly see quality images at their desired viewing ranges.

Solid, Weather Resistant Base

The camera mounting base has a strong magnet and 2 screw holes for easy and quick positioning of the camera for the best viewing angle. A weather guard on the camera protects the on/off switch and power receptacle.

Reverse Imaging function

Patent-pending Reverse Imaging allows the user to see two different viewing perspectives – rear view mirror or over-the-shoulder.

LED Indicator Lights on Camera and Monitor

The LED indicator is red while charging and automatically turns off when fully charged. LED turns green when on.

Video Out Port and Cable on Monitor

Images on the monitor can be easily sent to a larger screen or a DVR recording device using the Video Out port.

Charge Camera and Monitor at the Same Time

Kia Soul EV goes in to production for UK and Europe

The Kia Soul EV (pictured) is now being produced for Europe The electric Kia Soul was revealed at the Chicago Motor Show back in February, with Kia promising it would go on sale in the UK and Europe late in 2014. And that looks to be on track. Kia has announced that the Soul EV for the export market has now gone in to production – the first electric car from Kia destined for export from South Korea – with the first cars off the production line destined for Europe.

Honda's press conference at last week's press conference was full of the usual marketing messages about sales figures, new models and company strategies but the thing that caught our magpie-like eyes was this joyful little video. The cheeky vector graphics feature 19 of the company's concept cars from the last 20 years, starting with the 1994 FSR right up to the NSX via such wonderful oddities as the Kiwami and P-Nut, all accompanied by a bouncy score.  It reminded us all why this is a brand that has always stood out as individual and creative even if the last few years have been a little sparse.

Tesla Expands UK Supercharger Network

FOLLOWING on from the recent UK launch of the right-hand drive version of its Model S electric car, Tesla has turned its attention to expanding its Supercharger network. The Supercharger is a public charging facility allowing owners to rapid charge their vehicles – around 20 minutes for a half charge – enabling longer journey times. In partnership with the Hyatt Regency hotel chain, Tesla now has Superchargers in London and Birmingham at the hotel’s Portman Square and Bridge Street properties respectively.
