Lamborghini could launch an SUV in 2017, CEO Stephan Winkelmann told a German newspaper. The Italian supercar brand will unveil a concept for the vehicle at the Beijing motor show on April 23 to test public reaction, according to a report in the German business daily Handelsblatt on Thursday. Winkelmann wants the SUV as a third model line along with the Gallardo and Aventador super cars to help make the brand profitable.

The Jaguar XJ_e PHEV plug-in hybrid has won the RAC ‘Most Energy Efficient Luxury Car Prototype’ and ‘Technical Panel’s Award of Merit’. Detroit Electric, Geely to develop fleet EVs for China

Geely Automobile Group and startup electric automaker Detroit Electric Inc. have agreed to develop electric vehicles and electric drivetrains for sale in China. Under the deal, the first EV will be a modified version of Geely's Emgrand EC7, which will go on sale early next year.
