This kit is fully computer designed and CNC machined from high strength nickel alloy steel. We believe that by using high quality base material, precision machining and exacting quality control, we can offer a product that is stronger and specifically designed to cope with the rigors of performance and competition vehicles.

Included in this set: 3.47 - 1 Ring gear and Countershaft that are a direct replacement for the OEM Set. The all-new 2012 Volkswagen Passat, looking to be a big player in the highly competitive midsize segment and the first car to be built at a new Chattanooga, Tenn., assembly plant, will come to market this fall with a base sticker price of $19,995, plus $770 destination charge. The 2012 Passat will be sold with three powertrains and a variety of equipment levels. “The 2012 Passat is a true Volkswagen, offering German engineering, class-leading standard features and superior fuel economy, all for a remarkable value,” said Jonathan Browning, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America.

Volt, Leaf win top safety rating in crash test

The 2011 Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf electric cars won the highest safety ratings in crash tests performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, putting them in the top 57 percent of models tested so far this year. About 80 of 140 vehicles tested among 2011-2012 models have received the Institute's "top safety pick," the group's award for state-of-the-art crash protection that exceeds federal safety rules, Institute spokesman Russ Rader said. The Volt and Leaf received a "good" rating -- the highest of four rankings -- on each of four crash tests, said the Institute, which is funded by auto insurers including State Farm, All-State and Geico.

VW’s Spanish arm SEAT today unveiled their vision of the future, with the SEAT Leon Twin Drive Prototype unveiling in Barcelona. The Twin Drive concept is simple, but quite promising. It offers an electric motor for running around town, but switches to a diesel or petrol engine when out of town.
