Lajdziak replaces Schembri as the president of Smart USA

Jill Lajdziak, Saturn's former top executive, was named president of Smart USA just three days after starting with the company. David Schembri, who previously held the job, will take an unidentified position with the Penske Automotive Group, which distributes the Smart ForTwo microcar in the United States, the company said. "Dave will transition into retail operations at Penske Automotive Group with our dealerships," said Penske spokesman Anthony Pordon.

Lamborghini has announced a roofless Roadster version as part of the brand’s continued 50th anniversary celebrations – and plans to build up to nine examples, depending on demand. Rundgang 2007, the annual design degree show held at the Braunschweig University of Art in Germany, took place July 11-15 2007 and showcased a variety of different work created by the graduating class of students in the Transportation Design program. The show displayed final thesis projects as well as sponsored projects from the last term.
