What happens to these bulbs (even never used bulbs) is that over time, they can develop cracks in the varnish (seal) on the back of the bulb. Once a crack develops, air can enter the bulb (which is under a sealed vacuum), and the filament will instantly burn out if power is applied. Audi readies flagship Sport Quattro concept for Frankfurt
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Audi will unveil its new Sport Quattro concept at next month's Frankfurt motor show, previewed in a number of sketches. We first saw the Quattro concept back in 2010 at the Paris motor show and three years later the carmaker has produced another iteration, a 2+2 coupé, that measures in at 4,699mm – 419mm longer than the Quattro concept (4,280mm). From what the sketches show, the Sport Quattro retains the chunky C-pillar of the 2010 Quattro concept, the 1984 Sport Quattro and the original Ur-Quattro models, while the four headlamp units are another nod to the original.
Eterniti Motors sells first Eterniti Artemis at Beijing auto show
Mon, 14 May 2012Eterniti Motors, which first showed us the Hemera super SUV concept in Frankfurt, then the production version--called the Artemis--in Beijing, sold its first car at the Chinese show. The company took five orders for the Eterniti Artemis, four in standard specification and one bespoke version. The standard Artemis SUV costs $337,500, converted from British pounds.

And now we learn that just about all the camouflage was covering were the thumping great stripes the Countryman JCW sports.
