Bentley Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ Convertible: Official
Mon, 28 Feb 2011Bentley Supersports 'Ice Speed Record' Convertible Last week we brought you news of a new Bentley Limited Edition – the Bentley Supersports ‘Ice Speed Record’ Convertible – and now Bentley catch up with the story too. It looks like most of our information was accurate, but Bentley has changed their minds – or we got steered in the wrong direction – as the exterior treatment has changed a bit from the last story. On the power front – rather the point when it comes to Bentley Supersports – the Bentley Supersports ISR’s 6.0 litre W12 gets 631bhp and 590lb/ft of torque, and runs on anything up to E85 fuel.
Scions at SEMA
Thu, 31 Oct 2013On Tuesday, Scion unveiled the cars it will show on its stand at SEMA and, while we appreciate the efforts of the tC tuners in the Scion Tuner Challenge, we gotta admit the FR-S entries and another stretch limo xB really caught our editorial eye. Coolest car of the night was a tie between the Ken Gushi GReddy FR-S and the Bulletproof Automotive FR-S. We couldn't decide which we liked better.
Kia four-door sports sedan concept
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Kia isn't giving much away about its Frankfurt-bound concept car, indeed it hasn't even released its name yet, referring to it as the 'four-door sports sedan concept.' The press release talks of it as 'signalling a distinctive new design direction' for the Korean brand, yet the now-familiar 'tiger-nose' grille and Optima-esque A-pillar/cant rail/C-pillar highlight are very much in evidence. "No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off," says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer."I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter." We'll bring you full details (and hopefully a name) from IAA next month. Photo gallery: Kia four-door sports sedan concept
