Hi all,

Up for sale is a rebuild kit for an early model T50 gearbox (1975-1981, 1st generation 20-splined output shaft usually found behind a Toyota 2TC or "2T" engine)

Contents:

Bearing - 1x Front - Input shaft bearing (Late model 18mm variant)
Bearing - 1x Rear - Output shaft bearing
Bearing - 1x Centre - Output shaft bearing

Bearing - 1x Front - Layshaft bearing
Bearing - 1x Rear - Layshaft bearing

Bearing - 12x Needle roller bearings - Serves as idler needle bearings for 4th gear
Bearing - 2 x Caged needle rollers - Serves as idler needle bearings for reverse and 1st gear

Consumable - 5x Synchros - synchro for each gear, reverse has no synchro
Consumable - 2x Oil seals (Front input shaft & Rear output shaft)

What is NOT included:

5th gear idler bearing - These are extremely rare to obtain as OEM and hence they are not available.

Centre Layshaft Bearing - No longer manufactured by the parent bearing company in Japan

Paper gasket kit - This is omitted as they are prone to leaking. Permatex RTV silicone does a much better job (available at most major automotive suppliers)

Please contact me if you need only a specific part from the kit. I will separate parts from the kit.

**NOTE** There are 3 known versions of the T50 gearbox. This rebuild kit is only compatible with the T50 gearboxes manufactured and delivered on cars between 1975-1981 . If unsure of your gearbox type, please contact me before purchase.

"We have a lot of top priorities, and A-BAT is not one of them right now," Bob Carter, Toyota Division's general manager, told the Web site PickupTrucks.com. "It's on the shelf." A Toyota official confirmed Carter's comments.
