Myths, facts and the Chevy Volt
Thu, 13 Sep 2012The election is less than two months away, so it must be time to bash the Chevy Volt. I’m referring to a Washington Post piece titled “GM’s vaunted Volt is on the road to nowhere fast.” I cite the Post piece only because it’s the latest; there have been other similar pieces in other quote-unquote mainstream media outlets. Watch Bucky Lasek steal a sheriff's daughter with a Subaru Impreza WRX
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Someone at Subaru probably canceled their plans, found enough Mountain Dew to keep them awake, plunked down in a comfy chair and watched the entirety of Grindhouse -- including the fake trailers -- to come up with the above fake trailer. Skateboarding hero Bucky Lasek, who races for Subaru's GRC team, does his best stoner-hippie Johnny Depp impression as he picks up the sheriff's daughter (Instagram "sensation" Kayslee Collins) and proceeds to do donuts around typical Midwestern fare -- and a peeing scarecrow -- in a 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX, made for jumping on dirt, storming through fireballs, being menaced by a shotgun and feeding Lasek donuts while he does donuts himself. You've been warned.
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder: RWD LP550-2 here in 2012
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Sant'Agata plans a two-wheel drive version of the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder – reflecting 2009's limited-series rear-wheel drive Balboni edition of the Gallardo coupe. Sales of the new rear-drive LP550-2 Spyder will start in early 2012, Lambo has confirmed to CAR. It will look the same as any other Gallardo convertible; the only changes will be to the hardware under the skin.
