Used cars 'getting cheaper'

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

CONSUMERS holding on to their motor for longer are driving down the cost of used cars, according to new research. The average price for a second-hand car in July-September 2011 was £8,870 - a 2.4% decline compared with the same period a year ago, according to the Auto Trader company. It is the first time the price has dipped below £9,000 since the company started tracking the market in January 2010.

Mercedes CLS Grand Edition

Fri, 02 Jan 2009

Mercedes CLS Grand Edition - Lots of Designo features The CLS had a mid-life freshen-up in 2008 to keep it on the ball, and we now see this special edition launched from today – a typical manufacturer response to a model getting near the end of its life – the new CLS, based on the new E-Class, is due next year. Despite its E-Class underpinnings, the CLS has never felt like an E-Class. Its looks are its ace – it is probably the best looking Mercedes for a very long time.

Vauxhall at Geneva: Vauxhall Meriva 2010 UK Prices

Wed, 03 Mar 2010

Vauxhall Meriva at Geneva - UK prices revealed Vauxhall has given the 2010 Meriva its first public outing at Geneva (and for that matter Opel has done the same) and seeing it on the floor at Geneva confirms ours suspicions that the New Meriva is almost a cool car (come on, we can’t actually say a mini mpv is really cool). No frumpiness, lots of stylish detail, well conceived and well executed. We still have some doubts about the practicalities of the suicide doors in the real world, but it all looks very good.
