Porsche says 1952 356 Cabriolet is oldest one sold in the U.S.

A 1952 Porsche 356 cabriolet owned by Robert Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla., has been named the winner of a contest to find the oldest Porsche sold in America. Porsche Cars North America ran the contest, which asked owners to submit documentation showing when their cars were first sold, as part of its celebration of 60 years of selling cars in the United States. Wilson's car, which he found in a salvage yard, was imported in November 1952 by Max Hoffman, who started bringing Porsches to the United States in 1950.

Chevrolet Miray (2011) concept first official pictures

Chevrolet has unveiled the Miray hybrid speedster concept today at the 2011 Seoul motor show in Korea. Created as a Chevrolet centennial celebration and marking increased globalisation of the Chevrolet brand, the new two-seater Miray concept looks set to be the star of the 2011 Seoul motor show. Why on earth wasn't the Chevrolet Miray at the 2011 Geneva motor show!? Meguiar still recovering from viral infection

TV host and car collector Barry Meguiar remains hospitalized in Monterey, Calif., recovering from a viral infection, but his condition is improving, a spokeswoman said on Wednesday. Meguiar, 67, was said to be in stable condition last week. On Wednesday, the spokeswoman said Meguiar was still on the mend and was awake.
