Hartmut Warkuss to receive 2014 EyesOn Design Catalyst Award
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Hartmut Warkuss, former head of Volkswagen Design, will be awarded the 2014 Catalyst Award by EyesOn Design at next week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Warkuss, who is credited with overseeing the design of the Bugatti Veyron, the VW Concept (new Beetle) and the Audi TT Concept, will be presented with the award by Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's president and chief design officer and the 2014 recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Skateboarder Rob Dyrdek kick-flips a Chevrolet Sonic for ad
Mon, 19 Dec 2011Professional skateboarder and MTV star Rob Dyrdek did something with a Chevrolet Sonic on Saturday that's never been done before: a kick flip. That's what they call it when a skateboard, or a car, corkscrews off a ramp, landing back on four wheels. The stunt was part of a Chevrolet ad campaign that started with the new hatchback driving out of a plane with a parachute like a skydiver.
