Highway Code to be rewritten for driverless cars

Science minister David Willetts told the Daily Mail that he is in talks with the Department for Transport about rewriting the law to allow cars on UK roads without anyone in the driving seat. GM posts $2.5 billion profit, led by North America
Thu, 04 Aug 2011General Motors on Thursday posted a profit of $2.5 billion for the second quarter, led by strong results in North America. GM's net income for the April-through-June period nearly doubled from $1.3 billion in the year-earlier quarter. It was GM's sixth consecutive quarterly profit since exiting bankruptcy in mid-2009.
Half of drivers try home fixes
Fri, 06 Dec 2013ALMOST HALF of the UK’s drivers have tried to fix their car at home with help from an online video rather than take it to a garage. A study by breakeryard.com shows two-fifths of drivers use videos from websites such as Youtube to learn how to fix their car. The study also showed that more than half (54%) had also tried to fix their car at home to save money on repair bills.
