The RACE 6 SFI is the premium harness for your competition vehicle if you require SFI certification or if you prefer 3" lap belts. This 6 point harness is both FIA and SFI 16.1 certified with T-Bar sub-strap, 3" shoulder belts, 3" lap belts and the exclusive TAKATA aluminum multi-point release cam-lock buckle.

The lap belts come with pull-down adjusters (pull away from the cam-lock) and Snap-On brackets for mounting to an eyebolt. The sub-straps are mounted with Snap-On brackets as well. The Snap-On brackets on both the lap belt and sub-straps are wrapped in allowing you to properly set the lengths of the belts and/or to change to a Bolt-On configuration by purchasing an additional Bolt-On kit.

Shoulder belts come with a 3-bar adjuster for wrap mounting to a rollbar or harnessbar. Snap-On or Bolt-On brackets can be purchased separately if you prefer a snap or bolt mount for the shoulder belts.

Coventry University MA Degree Show 2006

MA students from UK's Coventry University Automotive Design course presented their annual MA degree exhibition earlier this month. The Show, entitled 'Icons', which this year revolved around the central theme of designing tomorrows automotive 'Icons', displayed the students' work at Coventry's Transport Museum. Patrick le Quement, Renault's senior vice president of Corporate Design presented the Corus Award for 'Best Vehicle Design', which was awarded to Dev O'Nion who won for his design concept 'Apto Sapor.' O'Nion's project - an interior design concept - was inspired by organic themes in nature - what he called 'Natural Design' - to create a harmonious interior; a blend of the natural, biological and technical.

A new generation Jaguar XJR is being launched at the New York Auto Show later this month, signalling the return of the range-topping XJ with 542bhp. We’ve been heralding the arrival of an all new Jaguar XJR for four years and now, finally  Jaguar is about to deliver with a new XJR sporting Jaguar’s 542bhp version of the supercharged V8 under the bonnet. Jaguar are being a bit precious with the full details of the new XJR, but they’re calling the new XJR the ‘Dynamic Flagship‘ of the Jaguar range – which is promising when you consider how fluid and able the XJ already is.
