Tanabe is introducing the new Revel VLS 52mm OLED gauges for accurate and dependable monitoring of
vital engine components.

Maximum comfort is attained by the use of an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) numerical display. When
compared to a traditional LCD display, the OLED display provides sharper contrast resulting in a deeper black
for a crisp, clear images that is easier to read at a glance. The technology also allows for undistorted viewing
angles approaching 170 degrees. The OLED display also does not require a backlight to be clearly visible at
night, which gives the slim profile of the gauge and is perfect for mounting in areas where space is an issue.

Tanabe utilizes the best in sensor technology with the included LSU 4.9 oxygen content and Lambda value
sensor in the 52mm Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge. While many aftermarket wideband gauges are still
operating on the older, inaccurate sensor, OE manufacturers and Tanabe have made the switch to LSU 4.9,
the new standard. Compatible with gasoline and E85.

All packaging includes the gauge and necessary sensor, mounting bolts, hood, and instruction manual.

        The diminutive 2013 Scion iQ EV battery-electric vehicle will join car-sharing programs in the United States. The automaker says that details on which car-sharing programs the iQ will join will be announced in the coming weeks. The iQ EV sports a 12-kilowatt-hour battery, which provides an estimated range of 50 miles on a full charge.

        Chrysler Group late today took the unusual step of postponing a planned media drive of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee scheduled for early next month but vowed that "vehicles will still be in showrooms in September." The media event -- in which waves of national and foreign journalists were to gather in Seattle between Aug. 8 and 14 to drive the Cherokee for the first time -- was delayed until at least the first half of September, according to an email from the automaker. "Over the last couple of weeks during final quality and durability testing, we have discovered the opportunity to further improve powertrain calibration" in the Cherokee, the company said.
