BMW 730Ld takes ‘Top Chauffeur Car’ title from Jaguar XJ
Tue, 06 Sep 2011BMW 730Ld Chauffeur and Professional Driver Car of the Year 2011 Last year was very much the year of the Jaguar XJ, with awards and praise oozing from every publication. But a year is a long time in the car world, and the XJ – winner of the Chauffeur Car of the Year in 2010- has been beaten in to third place in this year’s Chauffeur Car of the Year by the BMW 730Ld. Professional Driver Magazine awards annual gongs for the best ‘working’ cars, judged by an invited panel of chauffeurs, motoring journalists and private hire operators who drive and judge the contenders during a one-day judging event.
Top Hyundai UK Dealers honoured
Thu, 06 Dec 2012Hyundai’s top UK dealers have been honoured with awards at an event in Frankfurt. Bristol Street Motors, Monaghan Brothers, Sandon Road Hyundai and J T Hughes won awards. From advertising to PR to product to showcase, the brand will only work if all the elements combine properly to convince car buyers there’s substance to the product.
Nissan Qazana unveiled at Geneva motor show 2009
Tue, 03 Mar 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 March 2009 12:39 This funky little concept car is Nissan’s new Qazana, a preview of an all-new sub-Qashqai crossover that’ll be built at the company’s Sunderland plant in 2010. All of the concept’s real, from its suicide rear doors through to its 20-inch wheels, but don’t expect much of this to translate onto the production car. The fancy doors and big rims will disappear, but the real thing will still have the muscular yet curvaceous lines of the Qazana concept.
