If you love boating and taking care of your boat, then you've come to the right place!

Here at 9xdecals we can help enhance your boats identity. We provide the best design for your boats brand. Our mission is to remaster and enhance original OEM insignia to move your boat in to the 21st century.

Our customers are individuals who feel "less is more." Rolex watches do not need a "Bling" approach for their brand recognition. Small insignia speaks volumes of self-value. Your boat deserves nothing less.

Creative Process

The decal(s) above are not OEM. We have designed our decals using the latest computer graphic and modeling technology. All decals are not recreated in their original size. Our design goal is to create a modern and sophisticated "Compact-Techno, Black Metal/Chrome or Classic" look using brushed aluminum, metal, gold, glass imitations.

Decal Material

We start by inkjet printing each set individually using a waterproof vinyl sheet, backed by a permanent adhesive. The ink used is UV resistant DYE. After drying we use a 300F hot .5 mil. thick laminate glossy film to protect the decal's surface. We use two types of lamination film. One for above water and one for below the water line. Like the stern drive applications and engine compartments. The below water line laminate is not as glossy but extremely rugged and requires a cold application in to the surface of the decal. All decals purchased from us for above water line applications should not be waxed or polished. The decal will sustain its color and gloss finish for years to come. All our decals must be cut because the lamination process can't be applied after die-cutting. The only lamination that can be applied after die cutting is epoxy based. The decals with an epoxy based top are called "Domed". Domed lamination has a size limitation and are extremely expensive. All though they are very beautiful.

Custom Work

We can customize all decals offered by us to your individual application for a small fee. If you do not find your boat model and would like us to make one for you, we will make one for you for $19.95. After completion, your logo will be offered in our inventory thus recouping the cost of the production.

If not satisfied, decals can be returned for exchange or complete refund within 14 days from the time of receiving our package.

Cross-country in a Corvette Stingray: Day One

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Chevrolet brought a small fleet of 2014 Corvette Stingrays to Pebble Beach last week. Somehow, we were able to talk them into letting us drive one from Monterey back to Michigan. By the end of the trip, Autoweek will probably have logged more miles in the Stingray than anyone outside General Motors.

Honda CR-Z – production ready at Detroit

Tue, 12 Jan 2010

Honda has revealed the production-ready CR-Z at the Detroit Motor Show Honda are very keen to catch up with Toyota in the hybrid car wars. The Honda Insight was their answer to the Prius (although better looking it was even more woeful to drive than the Prius) and Honda are now looking to move in to the ‘Sporty’ Hybrid market with the Honda CR-Z. Honda revealed the CR-Z back in October at the Tokyo Motor Show, and did the usual new model think of labeling it as a concept.

BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics (2009) teaser video

Fri, 28 Aug 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 28 August 2009 12:49 BMW has launched a teaser video for the Vision EfficientDynamics sports car concept that it will unveil at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show – and we've today published a new (sadly teaser again) photo of the green coupé from our friends over at IAAblog.com Not a lot until the final few sequences when we get to see the rear of this eco-friendly concept car. It shows the back of the sports car with F1-inspired winglets and other body addendum, plus external rear lights. BMW announced the car at the same time it confirmed its withdrawal from F1, claiming the concept would ‘demonstrate how efficient a sports car can be’ and that it ‘will also prove that sustainability does not apply to the drive train alone, but to design and materials as well.’ There’s been no hint from Munich on the powertrain, but in line with the other cars BMW will reveal (the X6 and 7-series ActiveHybrids) the Vision EfficientDynamics concept will almost certainly feature hybrid drive.
