TCI Super Street Fighter Package – fits GM LS1

4L60E Electronic Shiftable Transmission 

You are looking at a TCI 4L60E Electronic Shift Automatic Transmission that fits an GM LS(X).  I purchased this  transmission new for $ 3,469 plus shipping and installed it in my 70 Chevelle.   It bolts directly up to a LS1.  There is only about 25 miles on this tranny.  I swapped out this TCI for a 5 Speed Manual since the cam forced a higher than desired idle rpm.  The transmission performed perfectly.   

There are two issues that need to be noted:  One ear ( top bolt hole ) of the Bell Housing has been broken.  There are a six(6) other bolt holes around the bell housing.  This is no big deal.  A bell housing can be purchased used right here on eBay if you feel the need.  See the picture w/ the torque converter ( not included ).  The other issue is the top rear tail housing mount ( not needed ) that had to be shaved down to fit the tunnel on my 70 Chevelle.  I always try to use the cross-member lower mounting point on the tail housing to bolt up and secure the transmission.

These transmissions are shipped without the speedometer driven gear or it’s housing. If replacing the same model of transmission, these may be re-used from existing. If not, they must be purchased separately.
