Are you tired if fighting with that stock fuel filter? Not getting enough fuel flow for your hi performance engine? This adapter is designed to handle high fuel flow. The filter can be located on the suction or pressure side of the pump. Continuously filters fuel in a recirculating system. The spin-on element is easily replaced on the trail or track with no tools. About the adapter This billet adapter is made by Trusted Design Services, LLC in San Antonio, TX. Made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock. The mounting pattern is 2" center to center using 2ea 5/16 bolts. Both ends are threaded for mounting so you can plumb from either direction. The adapter measures 2.8" x 3.4" x 1.1" thick, and milled on every side to ensure perfect fit and function. The filter nipple is steel and is assembled using Loctite and a peen at the base of the thread (as shown). Threaded on both ends to accommodate flow in either direction. New Volvo V60, S60 & XC60 R-Design with Polestar Performance options
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Volvo has revealed new R-Design versions of the V60, S60 and XC60 with R-Design body, lowered suspension and the option of Polestar Performance. All three R-Design models get a new nose with a frameless Tech Matte Black grill, a silk metal R-Design logo, DRL lights on the corners, redesigned front wheel arches, rear diffuser and R-design tailpipes. Inside, the R-Design Volvos get sports seats covered in Nubuck textile and perforated leather, Adaptive Digital Display that offers three different configurations - Elegance, Eco and Performance – contrast stitching, stainless steel tread plates and R-Design logos.
Video: Jaguar XF clay model gets axed
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jaguar recently gave a trio of clay modelers the task of deconstructing the original model of their carefully and lovingly sculpted XF sedan by handing them axes and sledgehammers in front of a camera crew. The modelers – dressed in black t-shirts and jeans – are shown taking apart the model piece by piece, perhaps taking out their frustration with designers who feel the need to get a little too hands-on with their artisan handiwork. Perhaps some other car manufacturers could using this as inspiration to destroy some of their cars, maybe – naming no names – before reaching production.
