TWIN DISC / TECHNODRIVE model TMC 60 A marine transmission, new, with warranty. This model is a 7 degree downangle type, meaning the output shaft is at a 7 degree angle to the engine crankshaft. This allows the engine to sit level, with the prop shaft angled down 7 degrees. Your choice of 2:1, or 2.45:1 reduction ratio. List price is $1789, we sell these new units discounted. It is rated for a maximum 45 horsepower diesel engine at 3600 rpm. The engine must have left hand [ counterclockwise ] rotation, when looking at the flywheel. It will bolt to a 4" diameter Borg Warner / Velvet Drive prop shaft coupler. We have these couplers in stock, new, to fit 3/4", 7/8", 1", 1.125", 1.25" and 1.375" diameter prop shafts. $69 each. Thu, 13 Jun 2013The Electric Ford Focus (pictured) is now being built in Europe The electric Ford Focus is already in production, and on sale, in the USA, and now it’s gone in to production in Germany ahead of arriving with owners in July. So far, the Focus EV hasn’t been an overwhelming success in the US, with just over 700 sold in the first five months of 2013 but, even though Ford see the EV as a niche product, they’re still hoping to make a dent in sales of the Nissan LEAF in Europe. The Focus EV comes with an electric motor producing 143bhp and powered by a bank of lithium-ion batteries.
Fisker has potential buyers in line

Maker of the curvaceous Karma, Fisker has been cash-strapped for some time now due to what company insiders called an overly optimistic business plan that anticipated rapid sales growth. Tesla's success in the luxury/upscale electric vehicle industry hasn't helped Fisker's cause either.
