Land Rover Discovery Sport revealed – in miniature

The toy versions of the Land Rover Discovery Sport revealed Land Rover have been busy teasing the new Land Rover Discovery Sport – the replacement for the Freelander – ahead of its debut on 3rd September. We’ve already had the new Discovery Sport out testing, a good look at the Sport’s interior and, of course, the initial review of the Discovery Vision Concept that previewed the new Disco Sport. But now, ahead of a debut in a week or two, we get the Discovery Sport revealed early thanks to a photo of a couple of die cast models of the new Disco.

European new car sales in record LOW

European new car registrations have plunged to their LOWEST level on record after slow August sales reversed an upturn in July. The Chevrolet Code 130R Concept is one of a pair of concept cars designed as a direct result of feedback from Millennials – a demographic which car companies are desperate to engage with the automobile. The Code 130R is a four-seat coupe with a classically European proportion and size and more than a passing resemblance to the BMW 1 Series coupe. The car's muscular fenders, short front overhang and power-bulged hood provide reference to the classic muscle car era that engaged the youth of the 1960s and '70s.
