Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller with Tundra In-Dash Mounting Plate

This auction is for a used Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller which has been mounted to an ESP Truck Accessories in-dash mounting plate.

The mounting plate fits 2014-2016 Tundras. A Tekonsha #3017-P adapter is included for simple plug-in installation. And a generic P3 to bare wires adapter is also included if the #3017 doesn’t fit your vehicle.

Installation is easy. Pop out the factory face plate by prying from the bottom with a plastic tool.  Hook up the wires and push the new P3/faceplate into position. Done.

I had this installed in my 2016 Tundra and in my opinion the P3 trailer braking is vastly superior to the factory controller. And with the ESP bracket it still looks good.

Guaranteed not to be DOA. Buyer pays actual UPS shipping.

Porsche recalls GT3 for fire risk

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Porsche is telling 2014 911 GT3 owners to park their cars until the company can check them out for engine problems that could cause a fire. Porsche says it will pick the vehicles up and take them to a Porsche Center immediately, and that safety is its immediate concern. Two vehicles in Europe caught fire after engine damage occurred, so Porsche decided to inspect all 785 vehicles delivered worldwide.

Building the brand identity of Brazil's home-grown off-roader

Ford's South American design studio in Camaçari, Brazil, has already completed two 'One Ford' global projects, the EcoSport crossover, and the Ka compact. But the replacement for the Troller T4, a basic 4x4 solely for the Brazilian market, has presented a different challenge to the design team led by Joao Marcos Ramos. In 1994, Troller began building tough rally-raid 4x4s for local motor sport events.

Next Jaguar XJ takes styling cues from the XF

Wed, 18 Mar 2009

Jaguar is putting the finishing touches on its heavily revised 2011 XJ sedan, remaking its flagship sedan in the mold of the XF sedan. Based on a re-engineered version of today's all-aluminum XJ chassis introduced with the sedately styled 2004 model, the next XJ will be significantly different in appearance, drawing its coupelike-sedan inspiration from the Ian Callum-penned XF. "People know that something is coming, but they're going to be very surprised," says one source involved in the project code-named X351.
