    • Automatically adjusts trailer's braking based on deceleration of tow vehicle

  • Automatic-leveling ability - internal sensor detects deceleration even if controller is not mounted flat
    • Position at any angle up or down in the vertical plane
  • 3 Boost levels let you adjust initial braking power and aggressiveness
  • Continuous diagnostic check alerts you to any potential problems
  • Integrated safeguards protect your vehicle, trailer and the controller
    • Minimizes drain on car battery by drawing only 3.6 milliamps when not in use
    • Prevents trailer brakes from overheating by reducing power output to them during prolonged stops
    • Defends brake controller and trailer breakaway systems against shorts
  • Digital, blue LED display is easy to read
  • Built-in, rotary-style manual override lever
  • Quick-disconnect feature lets you easily remove and store the control when not in use
    • Replacement wiring harness (sold separately) and replacement bracket (7686 - sold separately) required to move the controller from one vehicle to another
  • Plug-in, vehicle-specific brake-control adapter (sold separately) can be used for certain applications to reduce installation time

Volvo C70 Facelift (2010)

Tue, 01 Sep 2009

The Volvo C70 has had a facelift for 2010 and will launch at Frankfurt The most obvious change to the C70 is the nose, which has been redisigned and appears to take its styling cues from the Volvo S60 Concept we saw prior to Detroit. The V70 gets new front wings, a re-shaped bonnet, new swoopy lights and a new front bumper with a wider grill. It gives the V70 more road presence.

CES: Welcome to the four-ringed, self-driving future

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

According to Ricky Hudi, the head of electronics development at Audi, "Ninety percent of automotive innovations today are due to electronics." He should know. He's working on that final piece of the puzzle that elevates our Traffic Assist and Lane Assist and Park Assist and Whiz-Bang Assist into a cohesive package that, yes, gives us the self-driving cars our commuters and slackers have always wanted. Audi believes that we will be saved by technology.

Jaguar XE Estate & Coupe “…a very difficult business case”

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

It’ll be tough to extend the Jaguar XE Range in to an Estate & Coupe We’ve bangedĀ on for years about Jaguar extending their saloon car range (well, the XJ and XF as that’s all they had until the XE arrived) to coupes and estates, at the very least. We know, for example, that the Jaguar XJ Coupe has been on the drawing board for as long as the current XJ, but Jaguar has failed to build it. Similarly, there have been rumblings about an XF Coupe for years, but that has come to nought too, although Jaguar did finally manage to launch the XF Sportbrake EstateĀ to extend the XF range a little.
