We employ a professional shipping department in a 25,000 square ft facility. We do not ship out of a house or garage. We use new boxes and packing material 98% of the time. Keep in mind you are most likely buying something that does not come with the original box or packing material (unless otherwise pictured or stated). In these cases, in order to guarantee a professional packing job, new boxes and superior packing materials must be used. Unless your package is mistreated by the carrier, we guarantee it will arrive safe and sound. That's a major difference between us and other sellers on eBay. We cannot absorb the high cost of new boxes and packing material in the product selling price because we most often sell on behalf of others. We keep a smaller portion of each sale. By the time we pay eBay and PayPal fees, along with our payment to our consignors, there is not enough money left to give our boxes and packing material away. London Taxi maker Manganese Bronze bought by China’s Geely

China automotive giant Geely has bought Manganese Bronze – makers of the iconic London Black Cab – in an £11.04 million deal. The iconic London Black Cab has been an accident waiting to happen for years, as under investment in making the Black Cab fit for the 21st century saw competition – like the Mercedes Vito Taxi and the Nissan NV200 Cab – start to offer serious competition to the taxi that identifies London. Despite an investment by China’s Geely – when Geely bought 20 per cent of Manganese Bronze, makers of the Black Cab – and the bulk of the Black Cab being produced in China and bolted together in the Midlands, the final nail in the coffin for Manganese Bronze was the recall of 400 TX4 cabs over a steering fault.

The acceptance letters went out this week for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the vintage racing weekend formerly known as the Monterey Historics, and it looks as if you'll get your money's worth out of this year's event. While previous years usually featured about 400 or so cars, the 2010 running of the renamed Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, managed now by SCRAMP, will feature 520 vintage entries. Leading the pack is what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime collection of 35 cars either designed, built or raced by the great Dan Gurney, this year's honoree.
