Off-roading in a Jeep is great fun. But don't expect an unmodified Jeep to go over every rock and tree stump you see. Don't expect it to be able to hillclimb in mud or slog through deep, loose sand. Don't expect it to make the length of Baja unscathed. The first thing you need is bigger tires. Those tires are too big to fit under the Jeep's already capacious wheel wells. The second thing you need is more ground clearance, to let your Jeep clear big logs and climp over rocky protuberances. Raising a Jeep is more complex than simply adding longer springs. Longer springs and longer shocks are where most lift kits start, but every additional inch means you have to modify other things, like the steering system, the drivetrain and even the wiring and brake lines. Lifting the body on the frame is good for another inch or two, but a serious lift will require a host of modifications. AA celebrates 40 years of 'get you home'

For the first time CarPlay Apple's iOS will linked directly to the car's built-in screen, with mirrored functions simplified for use while driving. Many functions are controlled by Apple's Siri voice command softwarre although if the car is fitted with a touchscreen and/or other control interfaces these can also be used.These will control major functions such as music, phone calls, iMessages and the controversial Apple Maps for navigation.
