We would like to offer a service of upgrading your Tesla Model S from 40 or 60 kWh to a 85 kWh version. The service includes the battery, labor and all necessary changes done to the car. At this price you will be expected to leave your old working battery with us. The new battery will be no more than 18 months old with less than 10k miles on it. We will also give you a 7 year unlimited miles warranty on the new battery.
After the upgrade your car will have increased power and the dash will say it's a 85 version.
We specialize in fixing and servicing the Model S for 3 years now.
Once we are ready for your upgrade, your car will have to be brought to our shop in New York for one to two days.

U.S. is seeking a record $16.4 million fine against Toyota

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is seeking a historic $16.4 million civil penalty against Toyota for failing to notify the agency in a timely fashion of a throttle problem that could cause unintended acceleration, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said on Monday. The amount is the maximum penalty and would be the most NHTSA has levied against an automaker. The agency said Toyota waited at least four months to alert it of the potential pedal problem.

McLaren's Stephenson honored by Art Center

McLaren Automotive design director Frank Stephenson was honored this weekend at the 80th anniversary of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif. Stephenson is a 1986 graduate of the school, and he received the Creative Spirit Award along with three other alumni. The MP4-12C was also on display at the festivities.
