Fiat 500byGucci. Yep, another ‘Special’ Fiat 500
Fri, 20 May 2011Fiat 500byGucci - legs by Natasha Poly Somewhere along the way both Fiat and MINI decided that the ultimate marketing tool for their trendy, retro-inspired superminis was an endless stream of variations and special editions. And it’s worked. So it’s no surprise then that we’ve got another new Fiat 500 to add to the list of special edition Fiat 500s, this time it’s linking to an iconic design brand with the Fiat 500byGucci (and that’s Fiat’s joined-up ’500 by Gucci’, not our fat fingers on the keyboard).
Cadillac plans dealer, consumer support for CUE infotainment system
Wed, 09 May 2012General Motors is taking a page from Apple's Genius Bar tech-support program as its Cadillac brand rolls out a new infotainment system. GM is requiring Cadillac dealers to designate two employees as certified CUE specialists--one in sales, the other in service--as experts to walk customers through the system known as the Cadillac User Experience, or CUE. GM also plans to hire 25 service representatives that it will scatter across its largest markets to field questions from both dealers and customers.
Toyota FT-86 and Subaru BRZ to launch next month
Fri, 21 Oct 2011Toyota FT-86 (pictured) & Subaru BRZ to debut at Tokyo The road from concept to reality has been a long one for the Toyota FT-86 and Subaru BRZ. But the wait is almost over for the Toyota/Subaru joint development, with production-ready versions of the FT-86 and BRZ planned for the Tokyo Motor Show next month. The aim was to produce a sporty, fun coupe for under £20k, and although that still seems to be the general consensus we wouldn’t be surprised to see the FT-86 come in at around £25k and the more powerful BRZ getting close to £30k when they actually arrive in 2012.
