The Texas flag: the Flags ‘n Hitches way! Sure we could’ve made a typical Texas flag, but we wanted to take it a step further. We use glossy red and blue powder coat for the left and bottom sections, but the white stripe and star are what makes this really unique. A state as proud as Texas deserves a hitch cover that really catches the eye, and that’s why we decided to give the star and stripe a highly reflective Machined aluminum look. Just like all our other products, even the back of our hitch covers is attractive with matching powder coat and no exposed bolts.

Materials
We like to stand out. We assume you do as well.
For us that means having unbeatable quality, and the best aesthetics you can find. By making use of aircraft grade aluminum, powder coat, and some pretty cool machining methods we can offer products that very few others can.

• 6061 aircraft grade aluminum – strong and light
• Powder coat – vibrant colors made to last
• CNC Machined – those good looks are part of the metal, not just on it!

All of our trailer hitch covers are 100% made in the USA. Each Flags ‘n Hitches trailer hitch cover is machined, powder coated, and assembled in house.

Mini Inspired By Goodwood (2011) first official pictures

Sat, 12 Mar 2011

It was only a matter of time before Mini and Rolls-Royce - the two most disparate points of the BMW group - joined forces on some special editions. And so it is that Mini will show the Mini Inspired By Goodwood at the 2011 Shanghai auto show. Just 1000 Minis Inspired By Goodwood will be built (in Oxford, not Goodwood), with worldwide sales starting in spring 2012.

Mazda 3, Mazda 6 get customized for the SEMA Show

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

We like the look of Mazda's current lineup, from the basic 2 to the sleek 6. Kodo design language has a lot to do with it -- Mazda North American Operations design director Derek Jenkins says that, thanks that Kodo styling, "the Zoom-Zoom genetic code is further being embraced, not buried, through increasingly expressive vehicle design." (Ugh.-ED) We didn't know genetics had anything to do with it, but hey -- tough to argue with the results. Perhaps Kodo's effectiveness is why Mazda's SEMA show concepts are fairly...restrained compared to what other automakers are bringing to Las Vegas.

Toyota GT86 gets 325bhp from Gazoo Racing – again

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

Toyota’s renegade Gazoo Racing are teasing another Toyota GT86 with 325bhp – the GRMN FR Sports Concept Platinum – for the Tokyo Auto Salon. There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding the Toyoya GT 86 (and the Subarua BRZ too) and the likelihood that it will get forced induction at some point to offer a chunk more power than its standard 197bhp. It’s always seemed likely that Toyota and Subaru would add a supercharger or turbo (or both) to their cars to give a properly powerful option.
