BMW has released new images and a lengthy press release detailing the design process for the new 7 Series sedan, set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October. We'll spare you the hyperbole here, but stay tuned for a Design Review of the Munich-based automaker's new range topping vehicle once we've seen the car in the metal in Paris. Ford reveals four Focus ST concepts for SEMA

Ford revealed customized versions of the Focus ST on Monday for the upcoming SEMA show in November. The four new hatches add to the company's Dreamcase, a website that shows off what Ford will offer at the aftermarket show. The Focus ST by PM Lifestyle gets a Banks Power straight-shot water methanol injection system along with 19-inch wheels from Rotiform, GT Radial Champiro tires, Sparco seats and Schroth Racing five-point harness.

Chris Bangle resigns as BMW Group Design Director

BMW today announced that Chris Bangle is resigning from his position as Head of Design for the BMW Group. Bangle will be handing over his post to current Head of BMW Automobile Design, Adrian van Hooydonk, when he leaves the company to pursue his own design-related endeavors outside the auto industry. Bangle has worked closely with van Hooydonk at BMW Group Design Development for nearly 17 years.
