TOYOTA has updated its Land Cruiser 4x4 for 2014 with improvements to the standard specification and revised pricing. It now costs from £34,995 to buy a Land Cruiser and all 2014 models have a revised exterior look that includes reshaped bumpers and grille. Mitsubishi will show this new Global Small Concept car at the 2011 Geneva motor show this spring. It's one of 12 vehicles on show at the Mitsubishi stand and previews the Japanese car maker's vision for future small cars. The Global Small Concept in fact forms the basis for a new supermini coming in March 2012.

BBC probe Top Gear 'practices'

THE BBC has held an internal investigation into Top Gear after a string of controversies involving the hit motoring show. The Guardian said that a report examining its "culture and practices" has been sent to director of television Danny Cohen and that people working on the show were asked if they thought it was racist. The show was found to have breached Ofcom's broadcasting rules last month over a ''racial'' term used by presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
