Wheeling, Illinois, United States
This is a BUY IT NOW AUCTION. You don't need to wait for it to end to purchase it right now.
You are bidding on a NEW TH400 9.5" torque converter. Here are the details TH400 9.5" (true 9.5" turbine ID) Billet Front Cover (no cheap factory cover) Spragless (can't explode this one) Steel 17 Blade Stator (strong & high stall) Furnace Brazed (best strength and efficiency) New Torrington Bearings 3200-3500 stall (depends on torque) Impeller Hub Balloon Plate New Hub This converter is designed for high horsepower cars making 500-1000hp. The billet cover insures balloon free passes from big HP unlike stock cast covers. Spragless stator ensures pass after pass without any issue of a sprag disaster. Spragless stators are more track oriented so street cars are required to run a huge trans cooler with a fan to handle the extra heat it creates. 17 steel blade stator is strong, unlike the aluminum ones most cheap converters use. The 17 blade is a high stall design with great coupling up top. Expect around 4-6%. This converter is on SALE and usually costs $1050. Don't be fooled by rebuilt stock converters, this is the real deal from scratch. We ONLY sell high performance race converters, no factory restalls etc. Check out our website for proof. |
