 Welcome to my listing!

I've chronicled my obsess...er, hobbies in my blog: http://therobbcollections.blogspot.com/  The page always opens with the latest entry. Older pages show a lot of other equipment and stuff.

I have been a “car guy” all my life. Really. And when I get into something, I gather everything I can find about that particular car or whatever. For instance, I have original dealer brochures for most of the cars I've owned, even the 1941 Plymouth coupe. (Bought it when I was 18, converted to Chevy V8 drivetrain.)

Well, as I am selling my 1990 Capri XR2, (see other items) I was going through all this stuff and decided since I'm not likely to ever buy another car I've already had, much could go to you, my fellow enthusiast.

ITEM INFORMATION:

As I wrote above, I got everything! This is official literature provided to Lincoln/Mercury dealers to help service people repair those spunky new (and tiny!) cars from Australia: Capri and Capri XR2.

Yes, my Capri loving friends, this is a genuine Ford dealer's service manual for our beloved Mercury Capri cars. Printed in September, 1991 for the 1992 model year, but it also covers 1991 models.

Big, thick and heavy. Like a real paper manual should be.

Included is a copy of the parts pages for the cars, real Ford Part numbers and prices.

New turbo? Prepare to bend over!

Good condition.

Toyota will pay NHTSA fine, adds to recalls

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

Toyota has stayed at the top of the news in the last few days. The Japanese automaker agreed to pay the record $16.4 million fine the U.S. Transportation Department levied against it, even as it scrambled to fix the Lexus GX 460 that Consumer Reports said was unsafe to drive.

Ferrari California: photos with roof up

Thu, 29 May 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 29 May 2008 15:57 The latest Ferrari California photos and details have just been released by the Prancing Horse. It’s the first time we've seen the California with its folding hard-top erected, and extra snippets of information - like the size of the 2+2 - have now been announced. Its 4560mm length puts the California midway between an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9, while the Ferrari’s 1900mm width means it is wider than both Brits.
