Caterham RST-V8 Levante (2008): first official pictures
Tue, 26 Feb 2008By Mark Nichol First Official Pictures 26 February 2008 12:51 This is the Caterham RST-V8 Levante, an example of what happens when a chirpy British sports car turns over to the dark side. The Levante is the work of RS Performance, which has taken an SV chassis, stuffed a 2.4-litre supercharged V8 into the front and coated the lot in swathes of carbon fibre. The result is 550bhp in a chassis weighing little over 500kg.
Gleagle McCar Concept
Wed, 06 Jun 2012The Gleagle McCar concept is a small EV the automaker calls the “Family Specialist”, due to its 3,700mm length combined with creative family functions within the interior. The McCar, developed by Nova design in Shanghai, retains the established brand identity through the concept's DRG, with a black background featuring four chrome strips, which flows into the integrated LED headlamps. Strong, powerful feature lines flow across the concept's sides into the tail to combine with the slender tail lamps.
BMW Concept X1 (2008) unveiled: first official photos and video
Wed, 01 Oct 2008By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 01 October 2008 00:31 This is the new BMW X1. Okay, BMW calls it the Concept X1 – it will be wheeled out tomorrow at the opening day of the Paris motor show – but 99 percent of what you see here will be arriving in production form in the UK in autumn 2009. Expect prices to kick off around £20,000 as the X1 tries to capitalise on its lack of direct rivals – Audi’s Q3 is still two years away.
