Nissan Micra ELLE: It’s a Micra for the Ladies

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

Nissan has revealed a limited edition Micra – the Micra ELLE – produced in conjunction with Elle Magazine. There is a strong argument that the Nissan Micra is predominantly aimed at the fairer sex, and if that was in doubt the new Micra ELLE confirms it. Nissan has joined up with Elle Magazine to produce a limited run of 500 of the Micra Elle with cosmetic titivation (what else?) including panoramic roof (helps with putting makeup on), extra chrome (nice and sparkly), titanium grey alloys (which will unfortunately show every kerbing dent) and fog lights (for when it’s not foggy).

Seat Leon Cupra (2014) first official pictures

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 08 January 2014 07:00 This is the new range-topping Seat Leon: the Leon Cupra, and it’s the new fastest front-wheel drive car on sale. The hot hatch performance model has up to 276bhp, and performance to embarrass bona fide sports cars. With prices ranging from £26k-£28k, the Leon Cupra costs much the same as a Golf GTI – but packs a more socking punch – and a proper limited slip differential.

But that’s exactly where the new Mercedes GLA found itself as it descended into Winsford Rock Salt Mine, 620 feet beneath the Cheshire countryside. The working mine, which supplies much of the UK’s gritting salt for wintry roads, played host to four standard (apart from extra driving lights) GLA models, which were lowered down into the mine nose first before being let loose in the 130-mile network of tunnels.
