Jaguar C-X75 500bhp hybrid supercar - here by 2014
Tue, 24 Jul 2012Jaguar today confirmed it will bring a limited, 200-strong edition of the C-X75 hybrid supercar to market in the next two years. The C-X75 is being developed in partnership with Williams and will be the second British hybrid supercar – alongside McLaren's new P11 – to challenge the Ferrari Enzo successor and Porsche 918 e-sypercars. To be shown at the annual Worthersee show (which starts in Austria this week) the concept uses the 2.5-litre five-cylinder from the Audi TT RS and RS Q3 SUV. Officially, to show the A3’s ‘sportiness’, but it points to an RS3 saloon (we've already spied the hatch testing) as well as the next TT RS, which sits on the same platform.

Sat, 02 May 2009All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. We did finally get Lotus Evora specifications and UK prices back in March, but even though the launch has once again been put back (from May until June) the release of these photos is clear evidence that finally the Lotus Evora is about ready. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
