This is a new, cool, finned cast aluminum Thickstun side cover for the GMC 6 cylinder 270, 302 and earlier GMC engines - as cast finish.

Cast and machined in the US from the original patterns, this is a serious casting weighing just under 6 lbs.  The rear gasket mounting face has been machined to ensure a good seal.

Depending upon the preference for your motor, you may paint all or part of the cover; or powdercoat it; or just polish the fins, etc.

Also included are 18 new stainless bolts and washers to mount the cover as it is slightly thicker than the original tin cover.

Perfect for your GMC Inline 6, SCTA or Bonneville engine, roadster, hot rod, street rod, rat rod or kool kustom.

The auction house says the car was built specifically for the foundation. It will join some 700 sports and muscle cars at the auction, which spans Jan.

The Mazda2 from Thailand - featuring a Mazda3 style nose Does this new nose – which follows the theme of the very good Mazda3 – forecast an update for the Mazda2 in the rest of the world that hasn’t happened yet? It seems more than likely. It would be very odd for Mazda to produce the Mazda2 in Thailand with a nose that matches the Mazda3, and then leave it alone for the rest of the world.

As part of Aston Martin’s Centenary celebrations in Dubai, an Aston Martin Vanquish has been helicoptered to the top of the Burj Al Arab hotel. There’s no more extra power on offer from the centenary edition Astons, but they do get a special paint job and interior and come with solid silver enamelled plaques commemorating the centenary, even if Aston Martin seem to have only been able to cobble together a Vanquish Centenary Edition so far. But things have got a bit more spectacular in Dubai, with Aston Martin using a helicopter to stick a Vanquish on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, 1,000 ft up at the top of the iconic sail-shaped building.
