Up for “Buy It Now” is a Thin Automotive Accent Stripe Kit.

This kit includes a 50-foot roll of pinstripe and two decals made from 2mil high performance automotive vinyl and two computer cut decals made from the same top quality vinyl. You can use either or both of the decals anywhere in the stripe or not at all.

 

The pinstripe is 3/16” overall width consisting of two 1/16” stripes separated by a 1/16” gap.

Also included are two decals made of computer cut vinyl the same color and quality of the pinstripe. These are not printed.  The decals included are:

Decals will come with a "carrier mask" not shown in the picture. The carrier mask holds everything together and in place when you install.

General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner out, replaced by COO Fritz Henderson

General Motors chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner has agreed to "step aside" after pressure from the Obama administration last week, ending his eight-year tenure at the helm as the company seeks additional federal aid. He's been replaced by GM President and COO Fritz Henderson, effective immediately. GM confirmed the moves shortly after midnight Monday.

We really liked the Toyota FT-1, which caught us off guard in the best possible way when it emerged at the Detroit auto show. In fact, we liked Toyota's “spiritual pace car” enough to call it the most fun new thing on the floor -- and we're hoping the automaker's execs take notice. Reader Dennis Liu certainly noticed the car, which seemed rather familiar to him: He feels that, coincidentally or not, it looks a lot like the Bertone Mantide.

Ford Transit production to end in Southampton

Ford is to close its Transit production facility in Southampton, ending more than 100 years of vehicle manufacture in the UK. Most UK car and van buyers still think of Ford as ‘British’, but even though Ford has been building cars in the UK for over 100 years, they haven’t built a single car in the UK for a decade. And now even white van man’s vehicle of choice - the Ford Transit – is being shipped off to Turkey.
