VW Scirocco Studie R unveiled at Bologna motor show

The Scirocco Studie R is a more roadgoing version of the Scirocco GT24 race car – and is a thinly veiled guide to the R20T that’s in development. CAR Online revealed VW’s plans for a hot Scirocco earlier this month, and this white concept car further fleshes out Wolfsburg’s thinking.

Chrysler unveils new ads to follow 'Halftime in America' campaign

A quartet of 60-second spots from the Chrysler/Fiat group launching this weekend comprises the next installment of the automaker's campaign that began famously during the Super Bowl with the two-minute "Halftime in America" commercial. Or, as Chrysler terms it, this is "the second half." The spots, all the work of ad agency Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, each aimed at a different company brand, are themed to the same "hope and encouragement" message delivered by Clint Eastwood in the campaign's first incarnation and continue the spirit of the "Imported from Detroit" motto. Opel offers glimpse at futuristic Monza concept car

Opel is about to show us a glimpse of its future with the Monza concept car, which will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this fall. The Monza, a nameplate we haven't seen for a while, will preview Opels of the near future, showcasing technology and design rather than being a production-ready car. But some of the styling will surely trickle down to the company's road cars.
