Mini Rocketman concept (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Wed, 23 Feb 2011

The new Mini Rocketman is manna from heaven for critics who bemoan the new BMW Mini’s growth spurt from bijou city car to bloated supersized mini. The Rocketman, Mini’s 2011 Geneva motor show debutant, is a blueprint for a new kind of smaller Mini – and it’s within an inch or two of Alec Issignois’s 1959 original. Don’t dismiss the Mini Rocketman as pie-in-the-sky concept.

FAB1 Rolls-Royce Ghost for Classic Motor Show

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

The FAB1 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase is no stranger to us at MSN Cars. Our esteemed managing editor, Tim Pollard, once spent some time in it, hobnobbing with the likes of Chris Evans, James May, Gary Barlow and Brian Cox. A photo collage that appeared on www.home-designing.com last week showed Ferraris, Maseratis and Lamborghinis sitting in houses as showpieces, like the works of art they are. Our enthusiast side says the owners should be out driving these spectacular pieces of machinery, but something tells us that if you have a Gran Turismo in the rumpus room, there's probably another one in your garage, too.
