Buyer to pay $12.00 S&H within Continental US via USPS or Fedex Ground. Hawaii, Alaska and PR extra. Buyer may pick up in person in SE Ct. to save all S&H fees. Also, I drive from eastern Ct to Edison, NJ twice a month. If the buyer wants to meet me along my route at a convenient time I will do that to save S&H fees but please pay in person if doing so to save me the 4% that they charge.

Chevrolet Volt production halted – again

General Motors has revealed that they are to halt production of the Chevrolet Volt for four weeks as sales stay low. Back in March, we revealed that GM were to stop production of the Chevrolet Volt range extender EV as actual sales fell well behind projected sales. At that time – with a production target of 45,000 Chevy Volts in 2012 – GM had managed to flog just 1.626 Volts in the first two months of 2012 so they decided to halt production for a moth as they had 6,300 Volts stockpiled.

Especially if that asset is in trouble and an iconic name can be grabbed for a song – or less. Which explains why the names of VW and Giugiaro’s Italdesign are being linked together as the Italian designer appears to seek a car maker to rescue it from the woes of being an independent in these rather troubled times.
